About these terms
These terms apply to every order placed on daftgoods.com. Please read them before you buy. They don't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
Ordering
- Your order is an offer to buy. The contract between us begins when we email to confirm that your order has been dispatched.
- We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or has been priced wrongly. If we do, we'll refund you in full.
- You must be 18 or over to place an order.
Prices and payment
- Prices are in pounds sterling and are the price you pay for the item. Delivery is added at checkout.
- We take payment when you place your order. Payments are processed securely by WooPayments, and we never see your full card details.
- If we've made an obvious pricing mistake, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.
Delivery
Delivery areas, costs and times are on our Delivery page. Times are estimates rather than guarantees, but we'll tell you if something is running late. Items are your responsibility once delivered.
Cancellations and returns
Our Returns page forms part of these terms and explains your 14-day right to cancel.
Using the products
Our products are novelty items. Please read the instructions and warnings that come with them.
- Pet products. Supervise your pet, check the fit, and take off anything your pet isn't comfortable in. No toy is indestructible, so throw away damaged ones.
- Kids' products. Check the age guidance on the listing and the packaging. Small parts can be a choking hazard for children under 3.
- Battery products. Follow the charging instructions and don't leave them charging unattended.
- Pranks. Use your judgement. Daft accepts no responsibility for the colleague who finds the cricket.
Our responsibility to you
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
